Who We Are

Good News

David was instrumental in obtaining a grant of $40,000 for the construction of a Veterinary Clinic and Animal Shelter at Lands in Love Costa Rica.

Former Israelgrants.com staffer Shoshanna Jaskoll wrote the LOI for Carmei Hair that led to an invitation from the Acharai Fund in Philadelphia to submit a full proposal which we subsequently prepared for submission. We are proud and pleased to announce that Carmei Hair was one of only three grants awarded by Acharai,$50,000 which will assist in absorbing the responsibility for taking responsibility for all of the meals provided to the needy by Hazon Yeshaya effectively tripling the number to 1,800 meals per day to the needy in three cities around the country.

Congratulations to our client, Atid Bamidbar, who has been awarded a grant of $100,000 over the course of 3 years from the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles for activities relating to Jewish identity for Russian speakers in the Negev. These activities will consist of young leadership meetings, Families Seminars, training sessions on community leadership and training leaders for Seminars on Wheels.

Our client Kesher was awarded $12,500 from Boeing for Parents Building Community. An innovative project to train parents nationally as catalysts for establishing  communities for special families in cities around the country to realize rights and entitlements for families of children with disabilities.

Our client Kesher has just had a $210,000 two year grant approved by the board of trustees of the Weinberg foundation which will enable adding a fourth pilot city for the Shemesh Program which will train and enable parents of children with disabilities to mentor other parents and to advocate among the professional establishment for putting the family unit at the center of the treatment of disabled children
