David Maeir-Epstein, M.S.S.A., is an organizational consultant specializing in resource development for nonprofit organizations. With over thirty years of experience in consulting in the US and Israel, David has been advising, assisting, and training professional staff, lay leadership, and volunteers of NPO's in Israel as an independent consultant since 1997.

David has a distinguished record of service in executive positions in planning, leadership development and fundraising in the Jewish Federations in Boston, St. Louis, and Louisville, Ky. He served as Israel Desk Director at the Joint Distribution Committee's Headquarters in New York and as the Israeli community representative of the Jewish Federations of Baltimore, Los Angeles, Houston, and Central New Jersey for Project Renewal. In addition, David planned the foundation of the Israeli Federated United Way (Matan), and served as the Founder and Executive Director of the Jerusalem Center for Community Leadership Development and the Director of Leadership and Resource Development for the Jerusalem Association of Community Centers and Neighborhood Administrations.

In his capacity as a fundraising consultant to Israeli nonprofit organizations, David has assisted educational and social organizations in Israel, in raising over $18,000,000 since 1999. In addition to his work as a consultant, David has taught resource development at the Baerwald School of Social Work of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at sites throughout Israel, and has authored a book chapter on resource development in a textbook that is used by the community work tracks of social work schools in Israel.

Gila Weinberg is COO of David Maeir-Epstein, specializing in resource development for education and welfare projects, strategic planning, professional grant-writing and development of marketing materials for fundraising events, personal solicitation and other fundraising venues. Gila has a BA in Psychology and English Literature, is a trained Rabbinical Litigator and a professional translator. Gila has a background in development of Jewish education programs at the Hebrew University's Melton Center, The Jewish Agency and other centers for educational development. gilaw1@netvision.net.il

Bruria Factor is the office manager and courses coordinator at "David Maeir Epstein & Associates" LTD. She has experience working in administration and text translations, and has studied English literature in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She became an experienced researcher during her work in the National Library of Israel and has worked as an office manager in two previous job placements.

Meir Charash is a senior consultant for David Maeir-Epstein. He has a BS in Business Management, majoring in organizational management, from Boston University and a MSW in Group and Community Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. Meir was the Director of the Israel Office of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia for 18 and a half years providing fiduciary oversight to donor funds with respect to specific ear-marked projects and facilitating Israel - Diaspora relations. Sara Tova Brody is a certified Grantwriter and experienced editor and translator. She has a BA (cum laude) in Jewish History and General Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and studied at the "Stella K. Abraham Women's Beit Midrash" in Migdal Oz for three years. She has worked on various research, writing and editing projects, including four years of deciphering and transcribing medieval Midrashic texts for the Friedberg Genizah Project and the preparation of a legal text for publication. sbrodygrants@gmail.com
